5-HTP

5-HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan) is a compound produced in the body from the amino acid tryptophan and is manufactured from the seeds of an African plant, Griffonia simplicifolia.

By assisting Growth Hormone, Seratonin, and Melatonin production, 5-HTP may help counteract the decreases in pituitary hormones, increases in free radical damage, and mental clarity disruptions associated with EMF exposure.*

Diindolylmethane & Indole-3-Carbinol

DIM (Diindolymethane) is a metabolite of Indole-3-Carbinol and is also found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower.

Because EMFs have been shown to manipulate natural estrogen production, DIM’s tendency to clear xenoestrogen metabolites and restore good natural estrogens in men and women made DIM a fitting choice for an EMF Defense product. Likewise DIM also tends to restore free testosterone levels which EMF has been shown to diminish.*

Dimethylglycine

Dimethylglycine (DMG) is an amino acid (derivative of glycine) found naturally in plant and animal cells.

The effects of EMFs on mental health have been evaluated by many studies. More difficult to discern is the study of how it affects the developing brain overtime. Autism, anxiety, depression, and so many other mental disorders have skyrocketed around the same time that EMF density increased.

Dimethylglycine presumably enhances oxygen utilization by tissue and complexes free radicals helping the mind become clearer.

Mitochondrial redox status was also shown to improve in the presence of dimethyglycine which can impact many inflammatory processes and also may boost ATP efficiency resulting in the noticeable energy boost.*

Inositol

Inositol is a type of sugar that influences both the body’s insulin response and several hormones associated with mood and cognition and is found in cantaloupe, citrus fruit, and many fiber-rich foods like beans.

With EMFs affecting sugar related brain cancers, the inclusion of Inositol seemed prudent. EMF also triggering mental health disorders and inflammatory problems too seemed to favor the addition of Inositol.

There are few if any side effects and inositol has well researched potential benefits to mental health, cancer, insulin sensitivity, PCOS, inflammation and more.

Produced naturally in the body, it avoids the status of B Vitamin, however we find benefits in adding even small amounts to the diet.*

Methylsulfonylmethane

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring organosulfur compound found in the human body, plants, and animals.

MSM has an anomalously high membrane penetrability and may cotransport other agents improving their effectiveness. This is due to it’s very small size possibly operating at the crosstalk of oxidative stress at the transcriptional subcellular level. It is thought that the antioxidant benefits of MSM happens from acting on mitochondria rather than a direct chemistry.

We use MSM as a driving agent to assist the delivery of other methyl donors.

Due to it’s wide array of benefits, it may be a great companion compound in the defense from long-term electromagnetic field exposure.*

S-Adenosylmethionine

S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe) is a naturally-occurring compound found in almost every tissue and fluid in the body.

SAMe plays a role in the immune system, maintains cell membranes, and helps produce and break down brain chemicals, such as serotonin, melatonin, and dopamine.

It was our feeling that typical studies use too high of a dosage of SAMe and we included about 15% of many case study amounts. Relying on synergy rather than brute force alleviated many of the concerns we had with typical doses of SAMe, while still getting to potentially take advantage of the important observed benefits.

We consider it an important ingredient in the defense of EMF for cellular stability, emotional wellbeing, mental clarity, and methylation.*

Silymarin

Silymarin is an extract from Milk Thistle which may benefit liver function, estrogen metabolism, cholesterol, insulin resistance, inflammation, cognition, cellular stability, bone density, and act as an antioxidant.

It has also had notable antiviral and antifungal properties while showing very few if any side effects overall.

We felt in conjunction with the other ingredients in our product that it was an excellent addition to defending from long term EMF exposure.*

Trimethylglycine

Trimethylglycine, also called Betaine Anhydrous, is a naturally occurring compound. An amino acid derivative composed of the amino acid glycine and three methyl groups, in the body, its primary role is as a methyl donor, transferring those extra methyl groups to other compounds.

This methylation support process benefits many biological systems providing potential antioxidant support, DNA stability, mental clarity benefits, liver support, cellular integrity, gene expression, energy, and more, free from side effects in most people.

It also helps maintain healthy water balance throughout the body and has been shown to have anti-necrotic effects in alcohol induced and metabolic liver disease.*

Turmeric

Turmeric is a member of the ginger family which has been popularized as an amazing anti-inflammatory for good reason by way of the curcuminoids and other compounds within.

It also has been shown to benefit several metabolic disorders, while improving insulin sensitivity. Because of the sugar related brain disorders EMFs were shown to trigger, we paid extra attention to insulin resistance in our formulation.

Turmeric also has benefits to immunity related to it’s oxidative stress improvements and it is very safe with little to no side effects even at unnecessarily large doses.

Best taken with Bioperine, we have included both to help drive turmeric’s benefits.*

Can this product treat, cure, or prevent, any disease?

This product has not been evaluated by the FDA. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and we are not making any such claims. When you view case studies referenced on this site, keep in mind they are using different dosages, regimens, and are in a different setting under different rules.

Can I give this product to my children?

We recommend not giving it to anyone under the age of 13. We are working on a version for young children due to requests.

Is this product safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?

As always follow your doctors exact recommendation. Typically, women who are nursing should not worry about taking the GRAS ingredients in recommended doses. This product uses conservative amounts relying on synergy making it safer than most. Overdosing would cause issue here through serotonin increase and it is not recommended to overdose while breastfeeding.

I am on anti-depressants, should I take this product?

You should consult with your doctor, but take a note that the ingredients which interact with anti-depressants are in low doses and should be safe for most people. The product relies on synergy rather than brute force.

Someone told me this boosted their energy, does this product negatively impact sleep?

Caffiene and most stimulants rely on adrenal stimulation for energy improvements which do impact sleep. However this supplement’s energy boost is happening from mitochondrial support and should not cause any sleep disturbances.

Someone told me this product calms them down, will it make me drowsy?

Due to facilitating brain chemistry in many ways, anxiety reduction allows the adrenals to be less engaged which has a calming effect. This will not likely make you drowsy but should normalize energy levels.

My urine has turned orange, is that normal?

This is from DIM and I3C clearing out xenoestrogens. It should resolve within 2-5 days and is actually a good sign that you are likely benefitting from these ingredients.
